I am an inventor, a mechatronics engineer and AI scientist with focus natural Human-Machine-Interaction. Currently I am writing a doctoral thesis about intuitive Human-Robot-Interaction based on multi-modal speech, gesture and facial features.

With the research project “RoSA” (Robot System Assistant) we are bringing humans and robots closer together. The focus lies on natural Human-Machine-Interaction with the help of facial, speech and gesture recognition. The project started as a Wizard of Oz experiment to find the necessary multi-modal features and continues to grow as we implement and complete the system with various state-of-the-art modalities.

As a doctoral candidate, I was managing research projects in the field of robotics. I was responsible for the research, the finances, documentation, publications and the communication with the research partners. Furthermore, I submitted multiple inventions and earned a patent.
